Call not showing in app
Learn the first checks to run when a call does not appear in Calls or recent activity.

Symptoms
You placed or received a call, but it does not appear in your Tideflow dashboard:
- The call is missing from the recent activity list
- The call appeared briefly but is missing details (no summary or recording)
- The dashboard shows no new calls even though you know one was made
Step-by-step checks
1. Wait a moment
Call records usually appear within seconds, but there can be a short processing delay, especially for AI receptionist calls where the summary and transcription need to be generated. Wait up to a minute and refresh the page.
2. Confirm the call reached Tideflow
If you are using call forwarding, the call may have been intercepted by your carrier's voicemail before it reached Tideflow. See forwarding not working for forwarding-specific troubleshooting.
If you are using a Tideflow number directly, confirm you called the correct number.
3. Check the right workspace
If you have access to multiple workspaces, make sure you are viewing the correct one. The call will only appear in the workspace that owns the Tideflow number that received the call.
4. Check your filters and date range
If the dashboard supports filtering by date or status, make sure you are not filtering out the call you are looking for. Reset filters to see all recent activity.
5. Check call duration
Very short calls (caller hangs up immediately or within a few seconds) may not generate a full record. If the call did not last long enough for Tideflow to answer and begin processing, it may not produce a usable record.
6. Check workspace subscription
If your workspace subscription has expired, call handling may be limited. Check your billing status to confirm your plan is active.
The call shows but details are missing
If the call record appears but the summary, transcription, or recording is missing:
- Processing delay— Transcription and summarisation may take a few extra seconds. Refresh the page after a short wait.
- Very short call— If the caller hung up quickly, there may not have been enough content to summarise.
- Voicemail mode— If the call was handled in voicemail mode and the caller did not leave a message, the recording and transcription will be empty.
